Ok, so I know I was/am doing the 30 day challenge, but I have to add this random blog in between because I find a real need to.

     What the f*ck is up with everyone getting engaged and/or married by the time they're 22? Four good friends I know have either become engaged or married before anyone of them even hit their twenty-second birthday... I just don't get it. Was there a memo that said "You belong in this generation and you "must" get married before you hit 22. Otherwise you will wither away and never get married"? Did I miss that memo? Guess so, because I have this aversion to getting married before 25. It's not that I don't want to get married, it's that at 18, 19 or even 20... how do you honestly know you want to spend the rest of your life with someone? Have you even tread out in the "waters" to see what else was out there... or are you just settling for the first opportunity that comes your way?
     I'm sorry.. wait no I'm really not... not for believing what I do on this. I've seen what early marriages do. Those marriages that are straight out of high school or in college... how many of those ever actually work out? The answer, not many. Now I'm not putting those who choose to get married down, but seriously... stop and think about it. Do you at the age of 20 want to give up your youth, the fun and all that jazz? I know I don't... I want to be able to go out with the guy I love and have fun... truly get to know him, and allow him to get to know me. You know... a long term relationship. Then and only then would I want to get married, and even after that I'd still want to go out and have fun with this person, not just sit at waiting for him to come home from work, or get pregnant within the first year of marriage. I still want to be able to have fun with this person, not feel chained to them because I chose to get married young, had a kid(s) with them, or am simply too afraid to leave them.
     Seriously need to stop now, because that was so a mini rant and a half, and what's ever worse is I could keep going on this topic. xD I'm also pretty sure I'm going to hear bitching from at least two people about this blog... but at this point I don't care. Ok, yep.. I'm done now.... O. e

Post vacation update randomness thingie x.x

     Ok, so no I've not died or fallen off the face of the Earth; decided to just take a break from blogging while I was on "vacation". But now that I'm back, expect more blogs more often.
But speaking of the vacation, being away from home for 3 weeks was awesome, I got to see my aunt and grandmother. On top of that I got to spend 2.5 weeks with my lovely "sister" Martika. Oddly though I must admit we didn't get into as much trouble as I thought we would. There were only two instances where we were especially terrible, but other than that we were strangely behaved for the two of us.
     Took a tour of the USS Enterprise, went to Virginia Beach more than once... I think I've been to every mall in the Norfolk, Virginia Beach and Chesapeake area. xD Also decided that I'd love to live in or near Virginia Beach, there only one place I could think of that I'd prefer to live in more. Hmm, went to a bar and rode a mechanical bull, it was friggin' awesome to say the least. <--- still have the bumps and bruises to prove it too. xD
     When we left from Chesapeake to go back home got a phone call from my university... found out that I get to go back to school on Halloween. Sooo so happy, I know that sounds weird to be excited for school. But the sooner I get it out of the way, the sooner I get to do the things I want to do. Actually must admit that this entire trip brought on really good news or good things throughout the whole thing. ^.^ My father doesn't seem to have the issues he had with me before I left, and was even a tad pouty because I wasn't home for his birthday to make him a cake like I do every year. And of course because according to some people I am a "sweetheart" I made my father a cake for his birthday, candles and song included even though his birthday was 30 Sept. xD
     And now that Halloween is right around the corner, must say I finally found a costume that actually really loved, though it's not the one I had my heart set on.... still flippin' awesome. Rach is being a pirate :D.  Our annual party is this weekend, so that should be fun (I'll post pics after it's all done ^-^ ).
     Random side note (even if this whole blog has been random) I've become a master multi-tasker.... proof being that whilst I was typing this up blog I was also dancing around my kitchen to techno music, cooking dinner and helping mum with making apple butter/ sauce all while being ungodly ill from travelling from 20-27˚ weather to 8-12˚ weather. Yay me! I have a feeling I'm gonna regret this in morning, but it made this afternoon WAY more interesting.

I ran away from home....

     Alright, so I'm not sure if I'm a good sister or not. O.o Bet you're like "Wait, Rach your the only girl in your family..." this is true, but as many of you know my family "adopts" pretty much any of my friends and considers them part of the family. That being said Marti's hubby and I plotted for me to come down to  spend 3 wks  with them.(1 wk will be with my relatives in here in VB though ^-^) Marti of course having no clue that I was coming or that her parents were either. Needless to say when I just showed up at the Waffle House they were having breakfast at she kinda flipped, but it was great she thought her husband had asked me for help planning a day at the spa or something for her.. but no it was actually me coming for the visit we'd talked so much about over the summer. That and it got me out of house for the next 3 wks, probably made my parents happy with that, though I know my beautiful brunette partner in crime is not. v.v Sorry Jess, told ya if you didn't have school I'd have dragged yur arse along too.

     So now that I'm here and all I can say is that I see this going well, we're both WAY too excited about it. Basically I see all hell breaking loose in Virginia, not like that is an surprise with Marti and I. I'll keep the blog updated as much as I can, even throw in pics here and there. Random update.... sorta-ish

It's been awhile since I did a proper blog post... so no time like the present I suppose. Been busy with school... wait no I'm not. T-T I've been busy attempting to find a job, which may have actually happened now, had a job interview on Sunday, so here's hoping. Other than that, just been staying away from the internet and doing a lot of writing. Learned to make canned goods like jam, tomato sauce and dilled beans, though the burns up and down my forearms would say that the only thing I learned to do was manage to hurt myself in just about every way possible when it comes to canning. O. e On top of that, Creeper is still here, and Jess I know you get my blog updates via email and all, but I know you'll vouch for me when I say it's time for him to leave and that the nickname Creeper doesn't quite do him justice. Hmm, yeah that's pretty much been life the past two weeks, nothing of any real interest to be honest. Oh, other than going to the Black Swamp Festival with my lovely brunette partner in crime Jess and the ever amazing Keanu. :D It was a blast and I'm surprised we didn't get kicked out of half the places we went into. Next time we go to Conventry or drive to Columbus and find something to do there, because that'd be a blast. ^^ Also trying to figure out why the library has decided that the AC must be on when it's 18˚ outside and rainy...doesn't make much sense and at this point I pretty sure it's warmer outside than it is inside. But whatever, nothing I can do to change it, so I shall sit here sopping wet and shiver to death. xDOk, and that's enough for now. Ok, so Jess and Keanu decided let's get on Yahoo and get into a conference together. That was their first mistake, especially because I was in such a good mood at the time and just a tad hyper, but I digress.
