Last blog of 2012.... wow, the year went by like nothing. Weird. But yesh, one last survey for you before 2013 rolls around in ....oh, say *loks at clock* ... a minute or so. xD

Awkwardness and such...

I do too many surveys, but honestly I find them fun. So I guess it really doesn't matter. But I'm sorta going to do an update.

Christmas has passed, it was nice overall. Sadly we didn't get snow until after the holiday, but it was really nice to spend time with family, friends and Jon. Gifts don't honestly mean much to me, I'd rather spend this time of year with the above mentioned people rather than receive gifts. ^-^

I'd love to post about all the amazing things I got for Christmas, but to be very honest, I got " A Tale of Two Cities" and then money for my license... that's it. But, that is more or less what I asked for. I'm 21, I don't need a huge amount of gifts. xD

Though, I can talk about those lovely awkward family get togethers you have to go to as a couple. Now, don't get me wrong they are fun, but when you've never the people at the get together for your boyfriend's family, it's a little odd. Especially for me, I'm already socially awkward enough as it... the added stress of not knowing anyone but Jon and his brother makes it even harder for me to be able to calmly try and have a conversation. Yay for stuttering now and then. xD

Oh, we got snow. Yay snow! ... Wait... no... I don't like the cold that much, and I really don't like having to to shovel it. Nor do I like driving in it. Ok, not so much the driving in it, more so dealing with the stupid people driving in it... we live in northwest Ohio, by a lake for fuck's sake, you should know how to drive in the goddamn snow by now. It's really not that difficult when you think about it in retrospect. *shrugs* Can't fix stupid apparently.

Also, I "love" getting relationship advice from a 17 yr old, who has only ever had one girlfriend, and has never actually met this girl. How the hell does that work? I'd love for someone to explain that one to me, because otherwise I don't think I will ever understand. >.<

And here comes the randomness.

I want to learn to play bass, problem is my hands are too small... at least for the bass that Jon owns they are. >.<

I seriously want pizza right now... like really good pizza. Or IHOP at 3 am again like Jon and I had Saturday.

Epic Adventures...

This blog is not going to make much sense to anyone but Jessica. And you know what? That's ok. At least some of you might get a laugh out of it.

Jess and I went out for supper to Pita Pit. Let me put it this way, we got there at about 1900... we did not leave until 2145 and that was only because we had to. I'm going to do a sorta listy thingie ma bobber... because that'll make it "easier" and also, these are in no real order of how they went tonight. Ayup, so here goes. 

• Topic one that we some how managed to get on. Guys. Yep, common topic with us. First off you should know that any guy either of us dates has to be able to handle the other. So that being said, we came up with this "You've pissed me off, go see Rachael/ Jessica. She already knows you've upset me"... "But..".... "No buts, just go see Rachael/ Jessica. She'll tell you what to do" 
• On from that we decided that said significant other should stock up on pillows, come in very handy for a makeshift padded room. And they may want to invest in a "hug-me-jacket".. aka straitjacket. My mind went off the deep end with that. "Hmm, a straitjacket could come in handy. It limits movement... that could be fun." << Insert Jess blushing here>> 
• Don't take Jess' colours (crayons) ... let me repeat that. DON'T take Jess' colours! Unless you want to be promptly spaz attacked, it's best to just back out the room when she's with her colours. Taking her colours will result in mass beatings and sadness. And no one likes a sad panda. 
• Speaking of colours, at one point I told Jess that if anyone took her colours I'd replace them with glitter paint. That prompted "Yay! Glitter paint!".... But because apparently, Jess is special and eats her colours, she'd also eat the paints. So according to Martika, it'd look like "She blew Edward Cullen"... or to be more tactical about it, we'll name the colour "she BLUE Edward Cullen". Yep. Jess then tried to argue that the paint was not for eating, it was for finger painting on the walls. "So, Jess... instead of blowing Edward Cullen... you gave him a handjob?" << Insert more of Jess blushing here>>
• I am apparently a red crayon... which really means I'm a green crayon , like a tree... wait, no scratch that... I'm the purple one. o.o

You just motorboated me.... in public. That's awesome!" We walk out of the store and as I'm taking a drink of my soda, Jess comments, "Well, I could have yelled MRSA as I did it!". She side-steps me as I spit my soda out onto the ground and Jess laughs, making the comment that it was good that she hadn't caught me mid-swallow.

And that was our adventure for the evening. I'm sure you'll here more of our fun when we go out again this coming Tuesday to watch The Hobbit, go to second breakfast and of course, the highlight of the trip... Cirilla's! Yay adult stores!  Only going because Jess hasn't been there yet, have to rectify that. ^-^

I don't even know

Not really a lot to write here. I mean I lead a pretty boring life, but I suppose it could be worse. I suppose I could start off by saying that I'm excited to hear that The Hobbit is due out this week, that Jess and I intend on going to see it.... but no plans have been made, because plans fails anytime she and I make them. Hmm, I would also like to add a little section here to say that my prayers and thoughts go out to the Lightfoot family and to the Hollis family. Both of which have lost people very important to them recently, and both of them will be sorely missed. 

Found out, no Jonathan this weekend, something about the duct-work at the house. So, Christmas shopping and baking it is. Joy.... I "love" shopping this time of year. Can you tell just how excited I am by that? I love Christmas, don't get me wrong. However, I cannot stand how stupid and self-centered people become around Christmas. It's not about getting/ giving gifts, it's about spending time with your friends and family. Simple as that. Christmas has become a commercialized holiday, as have most of the others. Can't change what society has ingrained in people's minds. 

I'm going to go off on a few tangents. Huh, who'd have thought? Rachael not going off on a tangent would be more of a surprise. xD 

1) I've made the horrid mistake to re-read the A Song of Ice and Fire series by George R.R. Martin. Don't get me wrong I adore this series. But it's been ages since I read it and I forgot how long it is. Let me put it this way Game of Thrones is about 700 pages on it's own... the entire series at least the books that are publish add up to about 4228 pages. Yeah, that's going to be oh so much fun to re-read. 

2) I have low self-esteem already, thanks to experiences with a great many people. I've never seen myself as pretty, gorgeous, or attractive. I don't tend to believe people when they say I am, because I feel I'm not. I know I'm not thin, I never have been and to be honest, I probably never will be. I eat pretty healthy and try my best to stay away from soda/ energy drinks now, not gonna lie I do still enjoy them now and then. I don't eat out at fast food places, and I generally don't eat junk food. But lately I've had a constant reminder that I'm apparently not pretty enough or thin enough for any guy to ever take interest in me. That's what a girl needs right? Being told she isn't good enough, especially by someone who knows nothing of my life. I should just brush it off and ignore it, but it plays in in the back of my head, and sometimes I wonder if what this person say is true.

3) I don't know how many of my readers suffer from chronic migraines. But those who do, understand how truly debilitating they can be. There are days, where just because it's cloudy or rainy, you can't get up out of bed. Other days you're fine. Sometimes your head hurts so bad, it makes you nauseated and dehydrated, usually resulting in a hospital visit, IVs and pain killers... and consequently, sometimes over night stays at said hospital. It sucks that you go to a neurologist to see what's causing them.. and then have no answer. NONE at all. "Oh, it just runs in your family history. You'll grow out of them. Here's some drugs to help." Basically, "You're stuck like this... deal with it." .... Great T-T 

4) I've run out of things to talk about. I had a general idea of what I wanted to talk about and now I'm just out of ideas. I could sit here and ramble, but  that's not very interesting for any of you. So I think for now I'm done here. Before I go, I shall leave you with this...

We've known each other ages. Met almost 10 years ago at a family get together, he was working for my grandfather at the time. But in the last 2 yrs, we'd gotten substantially closer. He'd been going through a rough patch in life and relationship-wise. I was getting out of a long distance relationship, and dealing with uni.
