This is for you, my sisters ^-^

I don't normally write a lot of poetry. But I wrote this ages ago for Martika and Jess. And I thought I'd post it here. One to remind them how much I love my sisters and two, because I bloody well feel like it. xD

In times gone by we’ve pondered

the paths our lives have taken

Knowing that in spite of this

our sister love unshaken.

Still that binding force exists

our sister love unbroken.

To me you are an angel in disguise.

Full of intuition, intelligent, and wise.

Always giving and helping through

Good times and bad.

You are the best friend I've ever had.

If I had one wish it would surely be

To give you as much as you've given to me.

A sister’s love is special

in ways that are unspoken

Through trials and tests, right by me

You stood,

And gave me your hand whenever you could.

Thank you so much my sister, my friend

My gratitude for you has no end.
